Things to consider when packing your storage space

  1. Prior to your move, feel free to visit Climate Safe to preview the sample storage spaces.
  2. Maximize your space.
  3. Keep in mind; most of our ceilings are 8 feet or higher. You can save space by stacking your belongings.
  4. Place heavier, more stable items at the bottom.
  5. Remove legs from tables, stand couches and mattresses on end.
  6. You can pack small items and linens inside appliances.
  7. Visualize storage space by comparing it to space you know – (bedroom, closet, garage).
  8. For example, if you can fill your bedroom with the items you’re storing, you’ll probably need a 10’x10’ space.
